A little about me

and why I love real estate

One of the things I’m most thankful for is having the opportunity to call Cullman home. I was born and raised here, and I’ve been blessed to be a part of this community all of my life.

I played sports in high school, then majored in Secondary Education at the University of Alabama. After earning my degree, I taught Physical Education and coached volleyball and basketball at Cullman High School for 13 years.

As my 2 girls got more active in sports, I came to realize I would rather watch my own kids play sports than continue my coaching career. After earning my Master’s Degree in School Counseling, I have spent the balance of my 25-year career at Cullman High School serving as a Guidance Counselor.

My life has never been dull. I love pushing myself and stretching for the next big challenge. Because I have an interest in real estate, the next logical step for me is beginning a second career as a real estate agent at Happy Homes.

After I retire from Cullman High School, my primary focus will be in helping Cullman area families to buy and sell homes. I’ve built a reputation over the course of my career as a trustworthy advocate for children in the Cullman school system. I will bring the same passion for loyalty to each real estate transaction I am a part of—you have my word on it.

It is an awesome feeling letting someone know how much you care instead of how much money you can make off of them. Give me a call today at (256) 590-6704. Let’s talk about how I can earn your trust and help you to resolve any real estate challenges you’re currently facing.
